I call myself Erick Grilo, 29 years old and working as a developer (officially) now for seven years. I specialize in enterprise software development, mainly in the ABAP Stack and as well as extensive knowledge in business process considering asset mainenance and finance/controlling. I also hold SAP certifications for ABAP Backend development in Cloud environment (C_ABAPD), Enterprise architecture (P_SAPEA) and as a CPI developer (C_CPI).

Although I currently specialize in SAP stack, I also have experience and work with other languages/stack, mainly Python (Flask, FastAPI, etc), and JavaScript (besides SAPUI5, Node.JS with Express), and Java. I always like to learn new languages/frameworks, especially when their model suits more the domain of the problem that I am working on / studying, and I see no problems in adapting my skillset according with the problem I currently need to solve. I am lucky enough to work with what I like.

I always aim to deliver clean and efficient solutions, having to deal with legacy architectural decisions with systems running millions of BRL and USD (depending on the company) on a daily basis, with emphasis on clean development principles (for both code and architecture).

• I am currently working at UX Innovation as a Senior Software Architect, with a mission to connecting business and people from companies all over the world to extract the best of value for business models with technology.
• 🔭 I’m currently working on maintaining and evolving some big legacy ABAP systems, as well as working on data governance solutions using ABAP CAP/BTP solutions, as well as implementing business solutions using integration suite tools, ABAP and SAPUI5 apps, and CAP (TypeScript-based) that supports our customers in many processes carrying over millions of USD.
• 🌱 I’m currently deepening my knowledge of Python and Linux admin by building my own lite version of a Docker runtime, based off John Cricket's build your own Docker. I like to tackle challenges out of my comfort zone and I aim to always learn useful things for either my daily life, or at least to keep my brain alive.

I have a MSc. in Computer Science with emphasis on Software Engineering - Applied Logic from Universidade Federal Fluminense, where my research resulted in a handful of scientific publications in many events, including a book chapter published by Springer. I created a Logic to model program interaction using a logic framework that can validade properties about system models called ReLo.
