Founder & CTO at Hive Now, quick commerce for fashion in Kochi. You pick clothes from stores across the city and they reach your door in minutes.
Most of my commits go into the private Hive Now codebase, so here's what they've built.
- The shop. The website at hivenow.in and the app customers order from.
- Checkout and payments. Razorpay, with prices checked on the server so nobody can change what they pay.
- Delivery. A Porter rider is booked as soon as an order is ready, and the order is tracked live until it reaches the door.
- Order updates on WhatsApp instead of paid SMS.
- Store payouts. Stores get paid automatically through Razorpay Route once an order is delivered.
- Ops tools. The admin and logistics apps the team runs the business from.
- Getting found. Technical SEO, and making sure AI assistants can read the site. Our first order came from a Google search, not an ad.
