Docker Desktop can report a missing or empty published-port binding immediately after a container starts. The deployment fixture indexes the binding list immediately, producing IndexError before its service-readiness probes can run. This occurred during parallel deployment checks for the server-package moves.

Retry that metadata lookup on KeyError or IndexError for up to ten seconds, reloading the container each time. Other Docker errors still propagate, and an unresolved binding retains its original exception after the deadline.

Validation:

  • All pre-commit and pre-push hooks, partition checks, type checkers and Pylint pass.
  • The six existing Docker deployment tests pass with two parallel workers.

This targets main independently of the server package and service moves.
