Closed because firmware PR OpenEarable/open-earable-2#293 now preserves the existing sensor protocol and requires no SDK or app changes. Its optional compact IMU encoding and extra characteristic have been removed at the user's request. The original branch is retained for reference; none of these SDK changes are required by the firmware-only throughput work.
This PR was separate from the earlier version-comparison fix in #146, which remains unaffected.
