Linux installation issue

I do have libwebkit2gtk installed, but it's libwebkit2gtk-4.1 2.50.0-2, if that even matters.
I tried to use the manual installation instructions, but the latest release doesn't have a Readme.txt with the detailed instructions that the docs lack.
There was a thread about an issue similar to this on Ubuntu and another on Debian, but whatever fixes were pushed out for those builds have not helped here

I can confirm your script works. Or atleast it worked for me and I was getting the same error as OP.
