Bug Description

Suddenly, both tools related to Copilot Spaces have disappeared. I can no longer connect to Spaces from VS Code via the MCP GitHub Server.

Affected Version

I’m not sure when this issue started or from which version it began.

Question

Is this a bug, or are you planning to retire this new feature?

Hey @juananmora 👋 These tools are available in copilot_spaces toolset but not enabled by default. For more details please check this discussion. It includes links to instructions how to enable particular toolset. :)

one more thing, is it possible to use the spaces mcp server in coding agent? I have this issue;

We're still working out a spaces integration with CCA, see https://github.com/github/copilot-experiences/issues/8149. We need to do some testing and probably some tweaking. I'm going to try to get this something under a feature flag today but we don't have a timeline for officially enabling anything yet.
