Built a GitHub Shop checkout agent with the Copilot SDK + BYOK (because $74.26|104.93 AUD shipping)

Watched the Let's Learn SDK stream. I desperately want the Mascot Cabana Top + Shorts and the Ugly Sweater, but on principle I refuse to pay $74.26 USD shipping on $157.99 of dev merch.

So I built an GitHub copilot agent, fully aware of the irony of how much my times worth vs the shipping 😅

• @github/copilot-sdk with BYOK (OpenAI, wireApi: "responses")
• Tiny UI for a little checkout page with live totals Australian things (Crikey! Shipping hurts more in AUD: A$105.69)
• After a few runs the model started seeing WHOISTHISGUY as a question and answering about itself instead of making the proper tool call. Now single-word inputs are treated as codes.

The agent works perfectly now it just needs a real code 😉 @jongalloway @patniko
