Currently, when minSeverity is changed it only affects what warnings are shown from newly run analyses. If the problems-tab is already populated with warnings from other open documents these will not be filtered by the severity level and require a new analysis to be run on the specified file to filter out warnings of lower severity than the chosen setting.
