Describe the bug
on Android when clicked the messgae box, before the keybord loads and slide up there's a blank space that is filled with the system theame. (I use Gboard). This is especially annoying when your os system theme is light but you have sable in dark mode, because everytime keybord needs to slide up or close you get flashed white for a moment.

I'd like the app background to take priority/override/fill the blank space that is created during this loading moments.
