I’d trace how a supervisor failure before startup affects the sandbox status and create/run command. Then I’d add a simple failure stage and type without exposing raw logs or environment values. I’d also add a regression test for an entrypoint execution failure. Also I'm trying to get more into open-source.

Why this change?

OpenShell cannot tell whether a command failed to start or simply exited. The current workaround is to keep failed containers and manually check Podman logs, which is slow, runtime-specific and hard to automate.
