Map Tiles Providers Add with UNC folder

Following an issue I created on SO.

I would like to be able to give a folder location instead of a web URL.

For example, I have the following code:

_map.Tiles.Providers.Add(
    CUSTOM_MAP_TILES_PROVIDER_ID,
    "My Map provider",
    $"http://MyWebServer01/MapTiles/{{zoom}}/{{x}}/{{y}}.png",
    tkTileProjection.SphericalMercator, MINIMUM_ZOOM, MAXIMUM_ZOOM);

If have a \\MyWebServer01\MapTiles shared folder. I would like to be able to use the following code:

_map.Tiles.Providers.Add(
    CUSTOM_MAP_TILES_PROVIDER_ID,
    "My Map provider",
    $"\\MyWebServer01\MapTiles\{{zoom}}\{{x}}\{{y}}.png",
    tkTileProjection.SphericalMercator, MINIMUM_ZOOM, MAXIMUM_ZOOM);

Hello Tirolock. I have done this before by using the file prefix rather than the http prefix, something like: file://<host>/<path>/{zoom}/{x}/{y}.png Although I'm not sure about using the shared folder reference as opposed to an absolute reference, but you can try some things. I'm also curious about your prefixed $ sign, which implies string interpolation if you're using c#. You don't want to do any variable substitution. I would remove the $ sign and the double curly brackets. Regards, Jerry.

Hello @jerryfaust , thanks for your answer, but unfortunately using the file://<host>/<path>/{zoom}/{x}/{y}.png (file://MyWebServer01/MapTiles/{zoom}/{x}/{y}.png) path/URL doesn't work for me.

As for the $ sign, it was because, in my C# code, I, as you guessed correctly, do string interpolation. I just forgot to remove it from my example.

I don't know if it's the source of my trouble, but the version of MapWinGIS I'm currently using is 5.2.4.
